From the look inhand, it doesnt look like a scrach,But some thing wet that kinda splashed on it.. and i say that as those lines seem to be on the coin, rather then in the coin, if that makes since. But Ill try to get a really good clear shot of it and repost it

 

That's the beginning stages of toning, and if nothing else it looks original.
