IMG_20200317_032814_2.jpg IMG_20200317_032835_2.jpg Hello, I said I was going to post some pennies. I apologize I haven't got them together to show. But I do have this quarter. I'm wondering if this quarter had a blister or bleb? What happened to make these circles? Is the "in" in God we trust just wear or error? I'm hoping maybe something either error or maybe slightly challenging. Lol

    Someone with a punch.
    Nothing but a damaged quarter.

The circles are as smooth as the rest of the coin. There are no holes. Maybe I misunderstood you?

It looks like there is a dip due to the way the circle looks.

Is it a bump or a dip?

Sometimes damage cannot be explained so easily because there are so many ways that it can occur during circulation. However, there are very few ways that errors can occur during the die-making and minting processes. The odds are against you!

Neither a dip or bump. Smooth as the rest. I can't feel and raise or bump.

I apologize for the blurriness. I would take more pics except I just messaged my husband at work not to spend it because he got it off my table. I will take more this afternoon if you feel you need a better look.

I can safely say it did not come from the mint like that. Regardless of what happened to it.

And yes I know the odds are against me. It hasn't stopped me yet. And won't. I hope to one day find a coin that no one knows anything about and a one and only collectable

just remember people use coins for all sorts of things, even as a simple screwdriver.

And also remember, most people give no credence to coins. They throw them in pockets, cup holders, and give no second thought to them unlike virtually everything else people own. So they get damaged from billions of various methods.

Sorry. It's my phone. But yes I know it drives me crazy. Ppl don't think farther than that moment if use. Ppl think it's crazy I still have a no scratch coffee table I bought at a yard sale 34 years ago and redid. It's a simple table. Very little effort. It was harder to keep other ppl from scratching it. All anyone has to do is no shoes ever on table. Only bare feet or socks. And a little thin doile. Instead of plastic or metal coasters. I recon I'm ocd. Lol
