The TPGs gave all six of these 1912-S nickels the same grade. Put them in the order that you like with #1 being your favorite & #6 the least.

Sorry 1sikevo & treashunt, I find that I can only attach 5 of the 6 photos.

    Very best regards,

"F" is the one I would take..the toning is wonderful....

But in all honesty, any of them would be nice!

    My order would be -
    #1 = F
    #2 = C
    #3 = B
    #4 = A
    #5 = E
    #6 = D

    All really nice coins!

The best corn is on D and E, but based on the pictures I like F and B in that order. If these coins are graded 64 then I would probably go with D.

So when will they start the FC (full corn) designation on Lib Nickels? :D

Good question - who knows. I just remember an article I read in coin world were they mentioned looking for full kernels on the left when looking an MS coins. I do not recall if this was something they expect for 64's and I am not sure if it is part of ANA grading guidelines on the series. All my books are at home. :)

Unfortunately the lighting for each image appears not to be the same.
Since they are all close in quality, this makes things difficult.
I don't believe I can render an accurate opinion.

And don't fixate on one diagnostic point (corn ears in this case).
    That can lead you astray.
Like the horn on a Buffalo nickel.

    Hello Kanga,
I know it's difficult to see all the nuances in the photos. The coins all have unique luster & marks and they are all mounted at various angles in their holders. I probably should have adjusted the lighting to more accurately capture each unique coin. This was my first attempt to post a string of photos & I took all the photos in succession without moving the camera or lights. (This may have been a mistake?) I initially adjusted the camera & lighting with the brightest coin & the darkest coin & then just shot them all one after the other. (The human eye would have adjusted from coin to coin but the camera didn't). I didn't like the way the lighting was bringing out every little mark on some of the brighter coins but I didn't know if I should change the lighting or camera setting.
    Very best regards,

In retrospect it would probably have been best if I said that they are so close in quality that they would really need to be seen in hand.
    All nice coins.

OMG, you have a rainbow toned 1912-S Liberty Head Nickel. I can't rank the other coins since I didn't even see them. I guess I don't need to tell you how rare vibrant rainbow toning is on Liberty Nickels, much less a 1912-S. Super coin

Try and find an 1883 no cents with full corn that ISN'T a proof. ;)

It is far more common on the later dates, but this area is the achilees heel of the Liberty Nickel strike.
