Hey y'all!! This morning I stopped at the store to get some lunch for the kids and myself and I was given two bat coins in change. I did not realize this until I got to the car but after seeing them I decided to go back in and see if she happened to have a whole roll. Well I got lucky I think. Let me get opinions on what y'all would do with them if you had them please. Excuse the cellophane that was the only thing I had at the moment to put those first two coins in.
I got some nice ones in change the other day. 1 without any nicks and full luster. It's in my album. Nice to get caught up. Next release is April 6th.
I think the first one I got in change about 3 weeks or so ago is the best one I have yet....can't wait to bust this roll and see what may be better!
Collecting Nut @Michael K @Islander80-83 @Mountain Man @furryfrog02 Had a guy in a Facebook group state that it was basically impossible to have more than one mint mark in a roll.....well how do es W get distributed?
They get dumped into the mix at different distribution centers. I live near a 2019W distribution area. I received a lot of 2019P boxes with a few W's mixed in.
Here you go @Rust_junky https://www.usmint.gov/news/inside-the-mint/mint-releases-first-ever-w-quarters-into-circulation
The W mintmark was distributed with other coins. Your chances of getting one, two or ten in a roll were about the same as getting none. Some members went through boxes of rolled quarters and found none while other members found several in a single roll.
Have not seen any BAT quarters here in circulation yet. Have only seen 2 SA Mission quarters in circulation ( probably ones from the roll I dumped). Have seen a lot of the RONR quarters in circulation, and they were issued after the SAM's. I broke down and bought 2 nice SAM W's from my LCS. Still going to search for the RONR awhile before I break down and buy those. I dislike the new 2020 W's having a counter stamp, not sure how actively I will be hunting those yet.
So I couldn't take it.......i busted it open and there were 48-2020 p bats..... anybody care to guess what the other two coins were
