A while back I posted a image of this note as a potential buy....
today I spoke with a Dealer friend and we discussed this and 2 other notes.

One was a 1899 Mule Chief in PMG64, the other was the $5 Lincoln Porthole in PCGS CHCU 63 EPQ......both notes are beautiful...but this one we analyzied the probability of finding another available in this condition at this pricepoit in PCGS Very choice New 64......

The only reason this is not Gem 65 is the left bottom margin is a bit short..thas it, thas the word from PCGS....otherwise it is a near perfect note.

I secured this note today as the final Large size for the year of 2008....
It is now the pinnicale of my collection and again adds to the beauty of American Artistry in the New York Collection.
Thank you all for taking a peek....I am indeed proud to own it...

    Regards,

    RickieB

Congratulations, I know where you got it, and I thought it over, but there are other things I wanted more like the 1860 $1 in PF etc. I am watching a couple of $20's from the 1863 series, but there is something else I am much more eager for in that auction. I also have to see how I did in the Stacks auction that closed today, still no results posted.
