    Hi Guys,
I have received another weird coin.
A Magnetic 1951 British Wren Farthing weighs 3.25 grams 20mm.
Doesn't have the right legend, It has - GEORGIVS VI D : G : BR : OMNI : REX FIDEI DEF.
It has some weird pitting on the surface on the coin and a not clear imagery.
It also has some weird damage to the Obverse.
    Any thoughts are appreciated.
    Regards
    Russ

Looks like something was once added or attached to the surface of the coin. Some of it is still there. That metal is probably ferro-magnetic and it makes the coin stick to a magnet. Maybe once made into a cuff link or button.

Nickel plated and it was once soldered to something.

Legend seems to be fine to me.

Yeah but all Farthings were made of bronze and had a different legend.

What is the difference? I checked your coin 3 times and it looks the same.

I sure can't see anything wrong with the legend.

So Nickel plated bronze, Hence the magnetization ?

Yes and what looks to be some added metal.
