Need Help

I found this coin unpacking after recently moving. I am not sure where it came from. The only logical explanation I can think of, it must have been in my dad's things after I cleaned out his house after he died. I don't know if it is worth anything or if it is even authentic. It is really beat up, and I have tried looking it up, but found nothing. Any help is appreciated

Well, the date...

on the one I have is 1789. And these show 1791. Any other thoughts?

about the size of a 50 cent piece

 

You have a copy...same type as was refered to you, just a different date...
