Help with small silver coin ID

    Hey there,
    I just won a mixed world coin lot in a DNW auction (it features some really cool Hogmouth 15 Kreuzers) but I was looking for some input as to the nature of the small coin pictured below. I do not yet have the lot so these are photos from the listing. Thanks!

    I don't know the specific coin, but that sure looks like the coat of arms of Basel (Swiss Cantons). Probably a 15th or 16th century silver bracteate/holpfennig or something like that.

    Absolutely. That is Basel's coat of arms/Wappen. They make some great coins :)
