Try this link and look for markers: http://varietyvista.com/05 JN RPMs/1955DOMM002.htm When posting a coin for some help from the community, you need to include additional shots beside the item you are focused on. As you become more experienced with Variety Hunting, you'll learn that context is very important. You need to observe the coin on the whole with emphasis on certain details like the doubling in mind and key markers that help attribute a coin. A single photo of the affected area is usually insufficient. Good luck on the attribution! It has potential, especially an RPM if not an OMM.
I think that’s a D/S. I’ll need to check the cherry pickers guide when I get home. The right side of the D also looks to have some damage but the top of the D looks good, as does the portion of the S visible inside the D.
Thank you yeah I’m leaning toward d/s but who knows I’ll throw it in a flip and deal with it later lol, thanks giys
Personally I am thinking a D/S but there is enough damage that I am not sure anyone could nail it down with out seeing it in hand.
I was hoping for a few more photos. Looks promising for something but with the hit we might be fooled.
