    The hit probably came from a misadjusted mechanical ( metal finger ) coin counter, blow from the right side of coin ( photo1) across, shaving off the other 2 areas of the lower part of the 5 towards the left side. The surface looks disrupted between the 5 and the mintmark. But not done in the mint, IMO, PMD
