Well...I got the Buff nickels today!!! I didn't get many rolls this time but plan on getting more...I was hoping to get alot and help some of my trading buddys but that isn't going to work out... They look ok but not what I would have done... Speedy
Yeah, i'm not overall too enthused with the design on the buffalo... The main problem I have though is the horn.... Has anyone noticed that the obverse of these coins that are being pumped out have a chit load of hits on the face of jefferson?
CoinOKC For one thing I would have taken off Jefferson--- Penneycase-- The Buff is alright but I'm wondering if the horn will be subject to alot of wear like the real Buff nickels... Speedy
I'm sure it will, I have already opened up a few rolls that came from the bank, take in mind that these coins haven't even gone through commerce yet in a traditionall way, but, they were hideous.... I had to go to a coin shop and pay a little extra to at least look at the end coins to see hopefully a roll or two would be decent.
I think the mint likes coins that are not decent but yet we will pay money to buy them...they make the money so I guess they think they can charge what ever they want. Speedy
I had noticed that. The whole obverse seems prone to bag marks. I suspect the mark of high grade coins will be the lack of bag marks there.
i just got rolls from the bank and they all have scuff's on on the forehead,i think ms's are going to be hard to find,i hope the unc sets from the mint are in better shape
I don't think the mint cares much about coins anymore and that is why all of the marks and other things... Speedy
