Hello all, first off apologies for the crappy pics. I just picked up this coin and believe it to be from German state of Hesse-Cassel. The inscription above the date reads KURHESSISCHE, below the date is written SCHEIDE MUNZE, or fractional currency. The date is 1864. Could someone with a 19th century Krause please check the KM number on this and the value in F and VF. I'd probably grade it XF except for a VERY minor bend. I'm really just wanting to check that my ID is good. The terrible pics should be enough to confirm that if not let you enjoy looking at the coin. I hope someone can help! I only have a handful of 19th century coins so haven't got the Krause.
Hey Brit, the catalog number is KM 613 VF 2.00 XF 4.00. This is an old catalog the prices may be different. Lou
