Hi all I'm new here. I still consider myself new to CRH even though I've been doing it on and off for 2ish years. I'd like to share a few pics and ask for your opinions. Kind of a mixed bag of pics.

The first pair of pics are of probably my favorite coin I've found so far.. the deep red color is very pleasing to look at (the pic might not do justice). Is it worth anything? I know it would have to be MS 67 and above to hold a premium (according to PCGS population grading).

Pair 2: I already know you'll probably tell me its cleaned, but what did someone do to it besides cleaning and polishing? The color is way off and it's unlike any penny I've seen. It's visually appealing... for whatever someone did to it. Has a bronze look to it.

Pair 3: Struck through grease? Dryer coin? I think it's a 1972 if I remember. The entire obverse side is illegible and the reverse has full detail.

    Pic 7: Is there a 5 within the 5?

Pic 8-10: Very noticeable shelf doubling.. common, but cool to be able to see with no magnification.

    Thanks for looking.

Edit: :( I posted pair 2 with 2 obverse pics by accident. The reverse is now the last pic.

The third coin is not a dryer coin. I believe it may be struck through die cap, but wait for a more experienced opinion. Cool find- probably not pmd. I dont see the 5 within the the 5. And yes, you have some nice examples of md, but not worth a premium. The first coin I dont believe would grade at a ms67. Based on the pics, which is definitely not a good way to grade, it may be a ms65 or a 66 tops

That looks like a struck through capped die to me.

Yeah it is a pretty neat find. Thanks for the information and replies guys. I also have a pretty neat lamination error coin with cracks all over the obverse and reverse.
