I found these in the parking lot at my local flea market in November of last year. There is a religious group under a tent that plays music, sings and hands out the Cent with a cross. Not sure if they were dropped by mistake or with intention but they are in my collection now. The silver one is aluminum and it contains the serenity prayer. The Cent is dated 2018-D. At least it has the date. Please do not be offended by them. Thst is certainly not my intention. I am only posting something coin related that I found.
I have one of those cents I found crhing. whom ever made this is breaking the law!! I wonder if they are taking the peace’s they cut out and passing them out too...
I have a cent that has an angel punched out of the center, rather than a crucifix. My mother got it from some Catholic Charity.
My understanding is that you can do anything to a US coin as long as it isn't something that is defrauding the user. There are a number of punch outs That I have. and yes they do pass out the punch outs. and as said the top one is from a rehab center for drug/booze as it has the 12 step prayer as they call it on the reverse. There are a large number of that type out there.
