Hey everyone I was just surfing when I found this auction. I thought everyone might find this interesting. http://cgi.ebay.com/Saint-Gaudens-1914-S-MS-67_W0QQitemZ110286771984QQihZ001QQcategoryZ39472QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem My friends, this is a "certified graded'' MS 67 SAINT! :rolling: :mouth:
:mouth: I like the rolling eyes icon. Nice touch. LOL! Yeah, as bad as that is, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a counterfeit to boot.
Outstanding Find Wow!!! Thanks for bring that to my attention. I sure hope I can win this one. Like the ad says, a great investment. MS67, how many can there possibly be at this grade? Maybe this is only one to be had. I don't recognized the grader, but they have to be trust worthy, right? Good job finding this treasure. I hope there won't be any hard feelings if you wanted to bid on this and I out bid you. It may take my savings meant for my education, which I really need, but I'm going for it! Thanks again!! Oh lucky day!!!
That coin will be pulled probably this Sunday by eBay. That listing is against the rules and CCGS is not an authorized nor quality TPG.
(get ready for sarcasm, everybody) And to think I've been wasting my time and money at so-called "reputable" dealers like Heritage and Stack's ! Those high-brow joints want upwards of 15 large for a coin like that, and they don't even clean or burnish 'em for ya like this guy does ! :headbang: Such a deal you get ! gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have gotta have
Actually, I doubt anyone will be able to snatch it up. Not if eBay removes it first for the seller giving a grade in the title for a non-top 4 grading company.
Graded by one of those "buy your own slabbing company" services.... you get the slabs and a bunch of labels, ready to fill in with your own grade. The three coins (forgeries for sure) he has for sale violate every rule ebay has... save your dollars and pickup a chinese copy for ten cents plus shipping.
I noticed it was a Coin World holder.....hmmmmmm..a few of those and a computer program to print some labels.......talk about getting into the TPG business on a budget!
