That's my old home-town (actually one town over). I've still got family there, and was kind of wishing I could've done a visit to coincide with the show last weekend. I'm sorry to hear there was a theft, but glad to hear of the bust.

All but one coin, not bad! Hopefully the one coin wasn't too expensive...

That's really cool. It's great when the bad guys get nailed. I got to chat with Doug for a few minutes a while back. His work has been really good for the hobby.

I hope the pine tree shilling wasn't the coin that remains missing, it's probably a high dollar value example. Happy the people were caught.

I don’t suppose there’s anything that ticks me off worse than thieves. Hope they enjoy justice.

Can you imagine being at a coin show as a vendor and two yahoo's come in wearing surgical masks, not too bright! :D Since most coin shows don't have video set up a cell phone could be your best protection!

Bring back some of the things we used to do, branding career criminals on their foreheads as a form of identification. Maybe not everyone who's served time, but the problem ones that can't be rehabilitated.

Just recently saw 'Salem' (TV show), in the first 5 minutes of the first episode someone gets the letter "F" on their forehead, for fornication! :p

I know I’m a hard-liner, and everyone won’t agree, but I am 100% FOR cutting off the hands of a thief. Problem solved, for everyone.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmm ..... fornication........

Jk... thieves are thieves there’s no rehabilitations for that once they get away with it they will aways think of the best solution to get away!! They get caught stealing coin next week there hitting up the wal greens or wal mart. They look for easy targets so the can get away. But those two guy where not newbies at all they thought it out and decided to hit up a coin show for a bigger score.

All coin shows should be held in conjunction with a gun show.

Fun story. A while back there was a thief that was running away and he shot himself in the foot. That's real justice.

There are people that would like to go back to that today even though what they consider to be fornication is normal.

You may need to get used to it over the next few months.

Didn't see anyone in surgical masks at today's show, but the crowd was definitely lighter than usual. And nobody was shaking hands.
