I have enjoyed looking at coins possibly trying to find different types of error coins. I have tried to read various posts and found some excellent references offered here on coin talk. I came across this 1955 D nickel and I noticed what I thought might be doubling so I went to a site offered here and tried to find anything close. In my perusing I did find some interesting information but am still a little confused. I figured I would ask for assistance and hopefully learn something. I know the pics leave a lot to be desired hopefully though they will provide enough clarity. My question is, would this be considered machine doubling any type double that on should be looking for? If other pics are need please advise and I will try to provide better one.
Thank you in advance for any guidance in this matter.

Thank you Chris for your response. I thought that it was but I wanted a confirmation I guess. There is a lot of reading on the subject and I wanted to see if I was in the right track.

There is a D over S 55' to look for. I blew your photo up and to me it looks like there might be an anomaly over the north part of the D.

Thank you for your response. I will have to look at it again I only have an eye loop 20 magnification. I see now a lot of people are using the macro microscopes,I guess I need to invest in something such as that to get a better look at coins. Like I said I figured it was just machine doubling but with a coin in this condition it may have underling issues that are getting lost in the sihuffle. Need to keep looking g for better specimens. Thank you again, for your comment.
