    Vabalathus of the Palmyrene empire was a Roman client king of sorts, wasn't he?

    Here he is on a coin with Aurelian.

    ..i'm bidding on a coin of Val/Aurel...it ends in a few minutes..from what i have gathered, he was a client/king as you state, of that state...
