Hey there TW....Nice Israeli coin there.....But it seems that it is harshly cleaned......Now you might not care and neither do I coz I don't pay for my coins; majority of them comes as trade but you should if you happen to buy them at AU or UNC price as they go down several grades due to improper cleaning.
Not to worry. I'll just stick it in a gold bezel, hang it on a gold chain and sell it to the tourists I have a 5 rupes Sri Lanka coin I put in a necklace. The obverse is a great building, with a flag on top, a statue of a man in front of many steps up to the great building, and a star emblem or such on the top front of building. The coin's script is a foreign language to me, but in English, it says "Universal Adult Franchise 1931-1981" Any thoughts on what it may be?
Why don't I get ideas like that? Sri Lankan coins has both English language as well as Sinhala; the national language. Well attributing it won't make much sense as its now a necklace. I'll look up WCG and see if I find something.
