Welcome to CT. Some of these look like proofs from the images. Maybe just the lighting, Nice looking roll.
They might be proofs because they look as if they came straight from the mint never been touched I'm not real sure how to tell if they are or not any suggestions on how I could know?
The edge of proof coins should meet the face of the rim at a 90 degree angle. Business strikes have a champfered edge.
My guess is high grade MS. Polished surfaces. Looks like an original roll. Roll them or study them, but please handle them correctly. the lot has a lot of potential. That's because one was taken as a favorite choice.
I got them from my father in law who passed away last year not really sure if they are proofs or not how would I know?
No because for the time being it's in my book to fill the 1969 S spot til I come across another one to put there that's why
Just so you know, you've likely ruined that coin by placing it in a pair of scissors. it does appear to be a proof but now you’ve “impaired” it. Handle your collectible coins with gentle care. only hold by the edges and lay down on a flat surface to take pictures.
Many dealers used to and probably still bust up proof sets. They make money with collectors just looking for a single proof coin.

It looks like she just propped it up on the plastic grips. Probably not noticeable if she was gentle. No, not preferred method, but probably many felt I ruined the 09 proof on the 2x2 cardboard, but PCGS didn't notice. Jim
