Let me ask you this.. What is your goal in coin collecting? That would be a purchase for a silver enthusiasts collection. That would be something that they would have knowledge about what they are getting into. Or are you just blindly buying anything that looks like a good deal without knowing what the heck the true value is? In other words.. Just taking a chance?
collect American Eagles and Morgan O dollars (missing) 3 years and upgrading to better quality. Until I can pony up for next adventure a set of CC dollars. The Thomas Cleveland was taken as a flier as it was a lot. Thanks Paddy
I was unaware of "Thomas Cleveland" too, PCGS has slabbed some Proof ASE DCAM's labeled as "Thomas Cleveland", with his signature. They go for a pretty penny higher than normal, and they seem to cover multiple years. here's the best description I could quickly find; copied from certifiedcoinconsultants.com "Thomas S. Cleveland, an original Master Designer from the United States Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program (AIP), has signed an exclusive insert label signature deal with Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com). Best known for the reverse design of the 2007 American Platinum Eagle, Cleveland carries design credits for 15 different U.S. Mint coins and medals. This Wreath label honors United States Disabled Veterans. There is a wreath on the label that states: "Take This Moment to Honor Our Disabled Defenders of Freedom". There are only 250 of these coins in this label."
