Hey guys, been a while...work and stuff.
Anyhow I have this coin here that I got in an unclean batch (can't remember which website doc/nr) and this was one of them.
Just need help narrowing this one down. I'm just not seeing anything like this on the OCRE website, but I'm terrible at navigating it.

I even think the reverse has a mint error, but idk what I'm talking about.

    Thanks so much!!!

I have a few coming up here that I'm still working on (30+). Once I get caught up on all these uncleaned coins I'll start posting more. I may have something, but I don't want to make any claims before my testing kit gets here, and I did uncover a silver/silvered coin as well. Once it's done soaking and I do another layer, I'll get some photos of that one too.

Good luck with the effort. I got my foot back into the hobby with uncleaned late romans.

There is some double strike reverse left that obscures what the emperor is holding. I don't have a match but the choices are your phoenix and a small statue of Victory as seen on the Thessalonika below. It is unfortunate that this cataloged feature was what was affected by the strike problem. rx6560bb1593.jpg
