Today at the bank to get a document notarised, and afterwards casually asking if they had anything that they needed to get rid off... 1 1964 -D Half 1 1967 Half 135 Ike Dollars! I have never had such a haul of those, I have been able to get them only ever in 2's and 3's each over the last couple of years.
They never really circulated a lot, they were made in the 1970's ostensibly for use in casinos. But you could get them in banks until the early 1980's reasonably often. Since the early 1990's they were hard to find in banks etc. but with the economy in the USA going bad, lots of stuff that people held onto for a long time is coming out again.
I have absolutely no idea how many I have now. Has to be quite a few hundred of them. Maybe 5-600 or so.
