I'll say #2 and #5, as reason #1, they seem to have full luster, and #2, they are my favs. :D

OK, I am putting you down for #5 & #8. Alright guys, we have 4 guesses. 6 more and I will reveal the answers. I emplore you, if you have no idea, just take a guess or pick the two that are most attractive in your opinion.

It's getting harder I still love #5 & #8 , but #2 is coming up fast on the outside , it may be a photo finish between #2 & #8 at the wire .

We have 5 guesses so far and we need five more before I reveal the answer. In addition, nobody has gotten my hint. I almost always embed a little help in these types of threads. I will give you guys another hint. One of these coins can't possibly have a star designation.

    Let's go, 5 more.:loud:

Alright guys, we still need five more guesses. The hint is in the text below the photo. One of these coins can't possibly have a star.

OK Lehigh, I'll post to help you solve the mystery for us uneducated on the nuances of the star designation! :rolling:

Here's my guess on your clue of what coin didn't make it:

"5. 1887 MS63: What the surfaces of this coin lack....."

OK, I am tired of begging. Here are the results of the 5 guesses.

    Coin1 (1879-S MS64)----------0
    Coin2 (1881-S MS65)----------3
    Coin3 (1881-S MS65)----------2
    Coin4 (1885 MS65)------------0
    Coin5 (1887 MS63)------------4
    Coin6 (1887 MS63)------------0
    Coin7 (1887 MS65)------------0
    Coin8 (1899-O MS65)----------1

Here is the Hint. Coin3 is graded by PCGS and can't possibly have a star designation.

The actual starred coins are Coin4 & Coin6.

NGC does not like to give coins with dark toning the star designation. That is why Coin1 and Coin5 did not star. I really don't have a clue as to why Coin2, Coin7, or Coin8 did not get a star. All three are beautiful. What do you guys think?
