I've come across at least 4 of these in my change over the past few weeks. They made a billion of them or something like that since they are still so frequently found in my everyday change. In regards to sending a coin in for grading, I'd make sure it's worth it before spending the time, effort and money doing that. For example, I got this bicentennial quarter from the carwash quarter machine a little over a year ago I think. It's definitely a special quarter due to the "frosting" but was in general circulation with some damage now. I don't think even it would be wise to send it in and pay the fees to grade it. One heck of a beautiful coin IMO. Very sad it was cast out into general circulation. It's one of my most favorite coins that I've come across in my daily change, so far.
