Gloomy Gus says.....It's a good start. I fear that the phone lines and internet will really be slow now. Instead of 1 person ordering 100 sets, he will enlist 10 people to order 10 sets for him. It's a no win situation for the simple collector no matter what the Mint tries. The person who normally orders many sets, will still get his many sets. Just more phone/internet time to do it. I sure hope I'm wrong and now everyone who wants a special set or coin will be able to get one.
Waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too little. Waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too late. I just received my email today telling me the sets were sold out. This after they accepted my order within the first 5 minutes of the site being opened.
What set(s) were you refering to? Personally I believe it's a step is a positive reaction to what has been going on with some dealers and would be promoters of coins. Now if they would implement some other changes in their mailing costs etc. things would be headed in the right direction.
Quick, I have to contact everyone I know and sign them up on the mint website (all with different addresses of course). Just kidding. I'm sure no one would do this...
