At what point do you throw away the gloves and start using a fresh pair?

I wash them with gentle detergent like woolite and re-use them.

If you have to ask it is probably time to wash or replace them.

I use latex gloves as they don't go too dirty easily and are easy to wash and dry.

I have oily hands, so I need gloves to take off my gloves.

My hands sweat too much so I can't use latex gloves.

    Me too.

I bought 6 pair of lintless cotton gloves so I swap when I feel the gloves are dirtier than the coins.
And that depends upon what coins I'm handling.
MS coins cause me to change more often.

Gloves are probably supposed to be replaced, not washed. Anything you wash them will will potentially get on the coins. I stopped using gloves. I can't grip the rim well with them and I've dropped a couple of coins. So clean bare hands works better for me.

About every thirty days. Same schedule as my underwear;)

Seriously though we rarely actually use them at the shop and I really don't see them used a lot by a lot of dealers.

Carefull edge handling is a key WITH clean hands. Today some paper money came in while we were eating. Paper money often HAS to be held in bare hands.

Before I would touch it I thoroughly washed and dried my hands.

I use them more at home but still with carefull edge handling. So really it all depends. If I use them a lot I get rid of them faster as oils will build up in the fibers.

When in doubt throw them out.

when 2 or more fingers get worn through and putting them on the wrong hands won't work anymore. I use them for roll searching, so it's more to keep hands from getting stained than anything else. They get washed when i'm scared to put them up close to my face when using the loop.
