Cointalkers!!! A lady stole my photo of my 1943 D/D RPM1 in an anacs 65 holder, just do an ebay search and you will see what I am saying. I can't put a link because this isn't the auctions listings. I have already emailed ebay but I doub't they will do anything about it. Please report this seller to help me get them gone. Thanks Tom

can you post item numbers for your auction and the alleged scam auction? I will post on the Coin Forgery eBay group.

Yes, you can post their auction. However, I would be very surprised if eBay would not remove the listing and do so rapidly. The only time I have been involved, I had to notify 2 other sellers that a third party had used their pics. It took less than 2 days for the listing to be pulled from the time I sent the first email.

BTW, I find no other listing like yours.

I also see only one auction. Did ebay pull it that fast?

Just thought of this. You are the only one who can report someone steeling your pics. eBay will not act on any other report except yours.

I complained about this on an ebay auction about a year or so ago. The seller got booted for doing this. Just give it some time and it should work out.

Good that it got pulled. I hate it when someone uses others photo's.

Good news!(that the scam auction was pulled) This sort of thing happens all to often on eBay.

And why is that "Good news"? Or is it "Good news" because it gets pulled?

Agreed, it takes some time but they will pull the auction as long as you tell them about it. Check the site map for the appropiate action that you need to take. I think it is fraudulent listings (I cant remember but it something close)

    or

if you are feeling evil (you did not hear this from me) bid on the item and dont pay for it then give them bad feedback for not giving you an item that is not pictured. ( again you did not hear that from me). If you have an ebay account they might try to give you bad feedback, but all you have to do is reply to the feedback post and a link to your pic or old auction if it still is up. People will figure it out. I dont recommend this action but hey.. they will figure out copying one of a kind coins (which is all old coins in my eyes) is wrong. And others that are smart enough to look at the feedback will stay way from the seller.

Good luck in what ever you do. :eek:dd:
