It's been a long time since I found anything good in a nickel box, but today's hunt produced a 1942-P war nickel and a 1935-S buffalo.

Some mint worker took out his frustrations polishing the reverse die on this LMC.
    Found in pocket change.

I'd have to dig but they're really no different from what is shown.

Okay. If you can, I'd still like to see them.

Today I picked up the 8 boxes of halves here in Florida. I quickly searched for enders tonight and found 1 ‘67 so I won’t be skunked, but likely won’t find many silver coins...Will update later.

I had a nice nickel box last week. 6 dated buffalos,1 war nickel, a proof and a couple nice AU/BU, 2 1958's (p) (not in pic) and a couple 1939's

Searched $80 in quarters tonight, nada. Found several 2019's no W's and no San Antonios. I have only seen 2 San Antonio missions in the wild. I find that odd.

Been awhile since i last posted, but i had to share this amazing find! Stopped by a bank I don't usually visit and asked for halves. $400.00 is what the teller said she had, and as i always do, i took them all. I looked at them and saw they were all hand wrapped, and looked like re-wraps.
Got to my car, and the first three rolls were all Bicentennials, that looked like they were rolled on July 4th 1976! I didn't have high hopes for the rest, but i pulled out of the bag a roll that was in a different wrapper: out pops 20 40% silver halves!

i then sorted all of the rest of the rolls:

    halves.jpg

I knew this was going to be good!
    Final total:
11 solid rolls of silver out of the 40 total.
    64 1964 Kennedy's
    156 40% Kennedy's.

2 of the rolls were 1969-D that looked like they had been rolled in 1969 and 2 of the 1964 rolls were blast white.

By far the single largest find of silver halves in one pickup I've ever found. But since these weren't in a box, i guess it can't be called a "monster box"!

Buy them all! Every. Single. Time!

    @dano great find!

    Box 1 of 8 with the ‘67 ender held a ‘65, ‘67, and ‘68D, so I’m happy!

Well, unlike @dano, I am not finding silver. :banghead: So I bought $200 quarter MWRs. Found my first 2020 Bat quarter from Denver. And my 2nd WIP W! Some before and after shots using MS70 on the W. Tomorrow I visit the neighboring town to try and change my half dollar luck. ;)
