I don't like e-bay and there aren't many coin shops in my area so where would you suggest on the web getting coins. Of course I want a place that is honest and priced reasonably!

I have searched and can't really find what seems to be a good, honest site.

Any suggestions from you guys "the exprerts!!!" would be appreciated.

It depends on what you're looking for. If you want quality MS stuff, you're pretty much limited to dealers and web auction sites. Just Google what you're looking for and several dealer's sites will come up. This has the disadvantage of you buying sight unseen, except for possibly a photo.

Current circulated stuff is a lot more fun and a lot more accessible. Just get rolls from banks or local merchants who deal in large amounts of cash .

An often overlooked and underused source is Craig's List. This has the advantage of allowing you to get some relative bargains and being able to see what you're getting in person before you buy.

Online dealers are my main providers now. Think Heritage, Stacks and you get the picture really quick. This will be the first Monday the obligatory package from Stacks will not come since I bid on nothing last week. But I should get some goodies from Stacks next week.

Have you try putting your want list on the open forum here?

As far as other web sites, there are a lot of honest dealer out there you just need to start off small with them at first and work up to the high end coins to build your trust with them.

Here are a few that I have used and have had good experience with:

    www.huntingfortreasure.com
    www.jakesmp.com
    www.kelleyscoins.com
    www.monex.com
    www.storefastcommerce.com
    www.littletoncoin.com
    www.franklinmint.com
    www.usmint.gov

With the bigger companies like littleton and frankin mint you do pay more but you can find some good deals, you just need to shop around.

    Good luck and happy hunting.
