    The correct term is doubled die.

    Thanks for the pep talk! I have found a few others too. I started an album in a 3 ring notebook with full size clear plastic pages. In the plastic page is a full size blowup [print out] photo of the RPM and inserted is the actual coin in a 2X2. I have 2 of them done so far.

    Nice find, :thumb: I've went back through unc rolls of wheat cents and look when I roll search and the only thing I came up with waas a 43 lincoln from a grease filled die that blanked out the 4.
    I guess persistance counts. And a little luck. ;)
