Going through an old album, I found this token. It gives entrance for amateur musicians wanting to audition for a professional contract. Before internet voting, in other words.

 

This is one of many different issues of the local currency «løn» («pay») from the «free city» Christiania in Copenhagen. They have been issuing these for over 40 years. The silver «fed» («fat one») are even more intriguing, but more expensive:

Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004. Since then, relations between Christiania and Danish authorities have been strained. Since the beginning of the 2010s, the situation has been somewhat normalized and Danish law is now enforced in Christiania

Spent a week at Andersen AFB in Guam. We met a couple special forces guys that had been casualties out of Nicaragua. The stories these two had were pretty wild. Thanks for sharing.
