Hope both of ya'll have a good time, and pass your tests with great marks! I really didn't feel that I should go to college so I opted out of it. Don't let family or friends force you to go because you need to have a mind that WANTS to do it before it is going to help your life. Speedy
I wish I had that decission....I either go to college or find a new place to live so I am stuck stainless
Stainless.....LOL College is just the start of your learning career! Just wait until you graduate and get thrown into the real world... Good luck....do your very best! RickieB
Good luck stainless. Have a lot of fun but not too much fun. I plan to finally finish my degree starting next fall. Here's some advice: if you plan to take a year off, don't let it turn into 4 years off...
thank you for all the support and advice guys...It means a lot to me...I will take in the advice as I will use it.. Will le y'all know what my first semester (and prolly my easiest) report card looks like stainless
Good luck buddy. My classes start tomorrow. Western Travelers to China, Scandal in Imperial Rome, Medieval Europe, and my Junior thesis for Archaeology. My advice to you - when you stumble home from a party, be sure to stay FAR away from ebay. (it happened to me once, thankfully I was outbid! )
Congrats on choosing to go to school gentlemen, AND on graduating High School in order to get there. You may not know it yet, but this will be one of the best times of your lives, enjoy it to the fullest !!!!!
Stainless, I wish you the best in your endeavors, and look forward to your posts in thr future. Regards, S
I went back to college after a 20 year break. Will graduate with a degree in Marketing this spring. I got an associates degree at a junior college also. Don't take a break. I lost earning power because I didn't finish. That silly piece of paper (degree) really does turn into $$$$. If you goto class, read your books, and do your projects/assignments on time you willl do just fine. As for picking a degree, pick something you like. It really dosen't matter what the degree is for most careers. 80% of people work in a different field than they got thier degree in. Hopefully you can check in with us on weekends!! Good Luck
3 most important things about college. 1. GO to class. You might feel like not going or skip a class one day or feel a little sick. You won't get in trouble if you don't go(detention or whatever). They will just take your money and let you fail the class. Saturday classes make this event more likely. 2. Don't get too wrapped up in the ladies. One or many. Many takes alot of energy and one takes alot of time. 3. Be yourself P.S. You can take placement tests 3-5 times. Do it if you can. You can get credit for the class without paying or even going if you can test out of a class. It's worth a shot.
Good luck man.. YOu'll do just fine. Pay attention and take good notes. This college thing will be a breeze...
