Bar Cent

Well here goes Nothing?? Is it Real or is it Memorex??
I don't see a mold seam, the "A" goes over "S" I believe this is good. The pics I posted should be good enough for the Experts out there to help.

looks fake to me as well....there is a die marker that is on all real ones, and if I can find my book I'll post a photo of it.

Speedy - I think you are talking about the small thorn type projection on second bar from top on right side. It is listed on the coin facts page. I do not see it on the posted coin.

 

Yep! The PCGS Guide shows the "crack"/"spike" thing on the 8th bar.
Also, when checking this coin while looking at a sample of a real Bar Cent the differents is like light and dark.
I'm not sure how this one was done, but it is fake.

Send it in for authentication.
That would take the guesswork out.
