This is actually quite pretty in hand and a lot better than seller's photo. A Sicily / Syracuse AR litra. Obverse shows head of Arethusa Reverse shows octopus. Similar to Sear 929. Diameter approx 12mm at widest, weight approx 0.42g. Edge-chipped, otherwise very good condition. And I don't mind the chip
It would be great to get a coin with an octopus on it. According to new research, they are much more intelligent than previously thought and also have strong emotions.
