wasn't the 1974 a MDO - Master Hub Doubled .. thus all of the coins would have doubling ?

edit: oops, that was 1969 D with the MDO

 

The pickup on this coin is the last T in trust and the end of the crossbar on the 4.
It is either a die state D or possibly even a later die state.

They are from a single die, not a master hub. The one pictured is not a doubled die.

 

I don't blame anyone for not being able to get past the damage.
But to blatantly say that the coin is not a DDO-001 when there is plenty of evidence, is just beyond me.

 

It definitely isn't the best example but I would call it a DDO if it came up in my box.
