So went to the store to buy a roll of quarters that I usually pick thru before I do my laundry but not this time every quarter in this roll from the gas station is a 2020 D American Samoa not sure how I was this lucky but looking for errors yes I'm wearing gloves doing so .... Be ready for updates will post on this thread unless super special
Norm? Remember the minting process. You'll probably see die chips. Compare them against each other for details and comparisons.
Well like some look like there's been coffee spilled on them and I have a possibility of a wounded mother bat
Just post close-up pictures with what you're seeing and where you're seeing it. Chick on "Full Image" not thumbnail.
Excellent pictures! I don't know these coin well enough to determine what you're seeing or what the anomaly is.
Between the eyes on the last 2 pictures it looks like the bats nose is broke the line on the right side of the nose is not on any of the other ones not even close to anything like that and does not look like chipping
I'm hoping to find some soon but I'll need to get away from my area to do so. Count your blessings and get another roll for your laundry.
But seriously, I wouldn't worry about it. You will see random anomalies and imperfections on these things. Non are exactly perfect or the same. There will be many types of hits, scratches, stains and damage on these coins. When you see a true mint error like doubling, you'll know it. It will jump out at you
