Hi guys, I pulled a few bills from my trip into the states. One 10 $ star... Which I accidentaly spent.. and these 2, 2 dollar bills. Im going to keep them but just curious if you guys would. L11146226 A 2003A L11146266 A 2003A they are both very nice condition, with a fold, not a crease, but just a fold like they've been in a wallet Im not sure what other info to give on them
To bad you spent the star note. Been there done that. I have the monthly paper money price guide and for what it's worth it prices the 2003 A notes as: F 3.00, XF 5.00, CH CU 63 8.00. I'm note sure how accurate this price guide is so you better wait for the pros to come along voice their opinion. :smile Lou
I dont think they would be worth much because notes in the higher grades can still soemwhat easily be found by going to a bank.
drn it. i got a whole strap the other day i thought i was going to get rich they had 50 more to go there goes my 4 k profit
lol, unless the notes are from a super small print run or otherwise rare... the value mont climb very high .... you will just have to give me all your gold coins i will send monthly payments (eventually) to help cover the cost in the end, you might make your 50k
I don't think the $2 notes are worth keeping in a "value" sense. By that, I don't think they will ever be worth much over face anytime soon. But, the $2 bill is somewhat uncommon in circulation in the US (although most banks have some on hand) and I think they are a nice looking note. Especially the reverse. I have always believed that no currency collection is complete without a "plain jane" CHCU $2. So, I'd probably hang on to at least one of them...and probably both (assuming they are your first).
Nah, Clembo sent me some consec #'s a little while ago, But I mean.. Im in canada, so I cant spend these ones anyway. lol
