1979 filled Mintmark Penny

Ok here is one for the books or not. getting later. will post this for you to look at.
1979 filled mintmark.

I don't see a thing except a nomal looking coin. Am I missing anything?

 

Yep that's a filled mint mark. That's pretty common with alot of coins.

The Denver mintmark is filled in with a cud. definitly not normal, but dosnt bring a premium, unless its the size of that one posted recently.

just to clarify, this would be considered a die chip, not a cud.

A cud is when a piece of the die has broken away from the EDGE of the coin. A cud always includes the rim.
