$100 MWR quarters. No Ws but I got this purdy little 1954P quarter.

I wish there is a place that i can ask for box of halves on the go. Imagine that. It's LEGAL TENDER! Stop making funny faces at me when I have those boxes.

Four banks tonight yielded $16.50 loose halves and 5 CWR halves...1, pristine ‘87D in a CWR from the last bank.

    I’ll gladly take it!

Highlights of today's box of nickels. The 2008 looks like a punch was used to make the protrusion on the reverse, but I do not see on the obverse a punch mark to make the mark. I know the pictures are not good; I am not a good photographer. IMG_1476.JPG IMG_1477.JPG IMG_1478.JPG IMG_1480.JPG

Bought some CWR’s of pennies today. Searched 10 of 20 and realized I was getting a lot of 80’s and 90’s Bu/ AU LMC’s . I’m thinking I got part of a collection dump. Think I should go back for more?

I'd search the major doubled dies (83, 84, 95) and the WAMs (98 and 99)

To say the least I've been bitten by the CRH bug after finding a W quarter in change at my university's student union earlier today. After school, I picked up $200 in MWR quarters from my credit union and found two Ws a San Antonio Missions and War in the Pacific.

Nice @Bradley Trotter. I didn't really enjoy searching quarters when I was doing it...but since I've stopped, I'm missing it. Looking forward to starting again in earnest in April.

@Bradley Trotter .Wow nice find! 3 in one day is GREAT! Unless of course you are lucky enough to get a whole box of 1 type like FuryFrog has.

@furryfrog02 Thanks for the heads up on the penny varieties. I will familiarize myself with those errors and check the pennies out

Lo and behold the head teller who was able to order me Ikes several times a few years ago called me a few minutes ago and told me she just received a $500 bag from Loomis and she's putting my name on it, woohoo!

It has been a few months since I checked with her about ordering Ikes. Last I checked, she told me her contract person with the courier changed when the bank changed to Loomis. Without a person to call at Loomis to personally request Ikes, she couldn't request them. Apparently, she either figured out a work-around or got to know someone at Loomis!

She offered to open the $500 bag and roll the coins, but I told her to not bother. Last time she rolled a $1,000 bag for me she put 3 Morgans and 2 Peace dollars in the same roll. I am guessing she was considering holding them back, so I do not want her to be tempted this time around :)

I will stop and get her a frozen yogurt gift card before I pick up the coins on my way home from work tonight because I know she likes frozen yogurt...Gotta keep the good contacts happy!

    Happy Hunting all

Anyway, I'll probably end up going back tomorrow or Thursday and getting another $200 since these rolls proved rather fruitful.

I'm hoping the luck stays with me in 2020 as well. Again, just working to make a set for each of my kids and myself. Will probably end up giving a few sets away like I did with the 2019s and selling the rest. I made more money from quarters than with silver halves last year lol.
