    Hey guys,
how would you grade this nice Indian Head? I find it very hard to estimate their condition, beacause of everything is ''upside down''.[IMG]

Man, you said a mouthful. I been an Indian aficionado for years and have myself a tribe of raw examples. That whole “inside out” thing is a struggle for any grader, but I do believe you have an MS example. Looking at it on my phone but some bag dings is all I detect.

    I echo Randy's sentiment . . . I believe this is an MS62 and maybe even an MS63 on a good day.

    After further inspection, I take it back . . . just MS62, no 63.

@Alexthegreat ...I agree with @Two Dogs that it looks like AU58, but please explain the “upside down” remark...I take it means these were struck like this and TPGs give allowance on grading...thanks in advance...Spark

@Alexthegreat , you seem to be trying out the advice and giving it a go one coin at a time. IMHO, looks like you are getting a decent response rate, and that you received some good advice. What do you think?

I’m at ms 62 as well. Enough bag marks but no real wear

IMHO I think the obverse is a 60-61 but the reverse is too baggy to grade MS so I'd give it a 58. I don't see much luster in the photos on the reverse.

A “baggy” coin without any wear should grade low MS. Note I said “should” :)

I don't disagree. It's hard to tell, without the coin in hand, but I'm seeing a little wear so.... Still in the AU58 camp.
