@Joy Matherne Best wishes for both of you tomorrow. Be safe and be warm. Let us know how it turns out.
Like Frankjk states "Is this like a Craigslist thing? If so be careful with your personal safety." This doesn't sound safe. I would think twice about meeting a stranger to buy something that sounds too good to true. Just looking out for you. Never mind. Read additional posts. Going with your son the police officer is as safe as you can get. I hope it works out. I found a nice deal on errors by chance at a estate sale. One of these days I'll get around to posting them and sharing the back story. Some time after my purchase I met with Fred Weinstein who gave me a short lesson in errors. Errors with the date showing have more value than those without. You may want to keep that in mind. Like others have stated $10 sounds too good to be true. I hope it works out for you.
Hey guys and gals I'm back home safe and sound. Short 140 dollars but think I can make that back. Here are a few of my spoils just have to go through them. I cant upload more than 10 files
Heavy haul , Joy! Like others in this thread, I too was initially concerned for your safety. But after seeing your bounty and how little you paid for it.........I am now concerned with the seller's welfare. Talk about highway robbery! Be very wary everybody, as we could have a Bonnie (Joy) and Clyde (Joy's "son" who we know was packing heat for today's encounter) in our midst.
Are you being serious, because one I offered more money than he was asking and not all books are full.
And I'm not familiar enough with all coins to know there value by looking at them, I still have to open a book to know there worth.
I bought so many coins for such a great price and was insulted for doing so,but anyhow do I have to post each one or a bundle?
Personally, I think you did great and I think you were fair to the seller as you offered more than they were asking.
