Usually you can't find anything spectacular, and that is the case here - except for the two 20 cent pieces; one 1875-S and one 1875-CC - which made the effort worthwhile. The year set of 2 cent pieces from 1864 through 1871 is OK for fillers.

Sorry for the lousy quality pictures; I can one or a few coins at a time close up if anyone wants to see something specific.

The location of sale is usually advertised in newspapers or fliers in India.
I have seen estate sale in Ebay too.

Hey Spock in the US just look usually in the classifieds for estate sales. Alot of times they will list many of the articles for sale. Even if you see nothing of interest go to one and you will sometimes find some great bargins for other collectiables. Good Luck

What would one expect to pay for coins like those? A rough idea will help in purchasing ideas.

Everything except the 20-cents would Red Book about $350 in G-VG.

The 20-cents would be around $460 in VG.

I paid WAY less than that.

I love estate sales . . . only problem is that some people get auction feaver. So many times, (especially if I know the auctioneer), I will put coins in the auction and sell instead of buying. But if the sale goes good, it's a lot of fun.
