I am officially calling an end to this season of collecting. I will be back in Oct/Nov of this year and look forward to it. I have to many other obligations that keep me busy in the warmer days of spring and summer and fall. I hope my membership will not expire from lack of use; if it does I will start over. Thanks for all the help from many of you, I really enjoyed this whole experience as a newbie and learned a lot. I did not take the time to post pictures of some of my finds, but I will be back and with more pictures too. Good luck and happy hunting to everyone.
digger, Good luck in your other pursuits, and please take a moment to check in from time to time. Life is to short to fill it full of absolutes, here's hoping we see ya before Oct.
Good luck, but I was not aware that collecting is something you can turn on and off at will. Sure, expenditures on coins might be curtailed or even stopped, but if a silver quarter lands in your pocket tomorrow, will you just spend it?
See ya in Nov digger. Do you want us to hold your coins while you take a break from collecting LOL!!!!
I too will not be able to check in as much as I do now, At least not while it is nice outside. I have a GL 1500 SE Goldwing motorcycle that my wife and I travel on in 3 of the 4 seasons. I really do enjoy this board though and will look in as often as I can.
Bobcat,is your motorbike a Honda Goldwings by any chance? If it is,then it is a very nice looking machine. Aidan.

Enjoy the summer digger, see you again in the fall. Inquiring minds want to know what you're ridin'. I ride my 1950FL the most. My father did not save any coins to pass down to me, but this certainly is an acceptable substitute!
Well, my father bought it new, and only put a little over 12,000 on it when he parked it in 1966. It sat in his garage (buried under "stuff") until I dug it out in 1998. I've put another 13,000 on it since then, which is not a lot, but I ride 7 other bikes as well.
8 Motorcycles -- ATTABOY Question- How many motorcycles does 1 man need?? The CORRECT answer- Just 1 more!!!
LOL, I like that answer. In fact I am looking for another but need to clear a spot for it first. Apologies for the hijacking.
