[NOTE: I did not look at all of your presentations, nor any completely through.] Certainly a different way to display a collection. If you can get non-collectors to view your videos, I think it could bring some of them into collecting. IMO you are doing a positive service for numismatics in general. Image resolution leaves a lot to be desired. If I didn't already know where the VDB was I might have said "Huh?"
nice those are the folders i used when i started my lincolns now reside in a dansco album...nice coins btw
Very cool! You have a nice collection and well diversified! I am still messing around with my digital camera... Most pics came out very crummy and I would be embarrassed to show them, back to the drawing board. Once I get some good results I am happy with... You might want to try some lighting experiments & focus adjustments as I noticed it was difficult to get good details on your coins when you held them up near the camera. My problem is still lighting, motion and resolution. Ugh! So much to work on, so little time to do it in.
BTW, I did notice that many of your coins were in the 2x2's. Those 2x2's were closed with staples. And the staples were sticking up in the back. You need to crimp them flat or you stand a good chance of the staple scratching other coins. Pliers will do the job, but if you have a lot to do, channel locks are easier on the hand.
