Walter Breen complete encyclopedia of us and colonial coins

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1st edition (1988) W.B. Complete encylopedia to US and Colonial coins for $77USD. It has the Library stamp on all 3 edges and the front and back blank pages and no damage, very little use. Would you and is it worth it? Is there a newer version and should I get that one instead? Thanks

That was one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten words, not one.

 

Already have it via checked out from library. Only been checked out twice in the last 14 months, so i asked how much. $75 plus $2 processing. Started shaking as I saw it for close to $300, but did not know if it was still a good resource due to age.

 

That's why we said you should buy it. $77 is a GREAT price for that GREAT book.

 

Is there a newer version or should I just finish getting the rest of the cherrypickers? In addition to, not instead of. I figure spend a few bucks now as I will most likely be collecting for my whole life.
