Check the US Mint's web site. They sell defaced dies of some coins (e.g., Westward Ho Nickels and State Quarters). Here is an example. A die is included in the pic of the product.
The Carson City Mint site may have something. I know they found a lot of old dies that had been tossed out back rather than being destroyed. They may have a pic of some of them there.
You might want to check Mike Byners' site here: http://mikebyers.com/pricelist.html I think he used to have some dies and hubs for sale. Not too sure if all of them are there now.

also if you need a blank coin die it doesn't appear to be overly difficult to make. So if you know any general machinist/tool n die maker or you know how to use a lathe you can make one yourself (minus the design) :smile seems to be just one large round stock piece brought to size then given the desired taper and endfaced off. (i'm sure theres more effort put into the real ones (surface grinding, polishing, ect) But if its just for a project to show people then you could theoreticly make a blank to pass around
Let me know when you ramp up to full scale production, and I'll put you in touch with my contacts in China... lol.
lol it'll take alot more then pictures to catch up with them. They are crazy lol watch that : http://video.google.ca/videoplay?do...SPLTNovA-wG35Pg0&q=chinese+in+die&vt=lf&hl=en they are actually sitting in the machine thats stamping out the product you'd best have balls of steel to sit in there cuz that thing pressing with hundreds of tons of pressure! The total lack of value reguarding human life is astounding :S but hey thats china for you:goof:
