Need some help with hammered coin identification

    Hey everyone,
    As the title advises I need some help identifying this coin.
    I'm not sure on its legitimacy as it may be a repro.
    Any help is appreciated.

    It looks like a Hiberno-Norse penny of Sihtric III Olafson, see here.

    If genuine, your coin would be quite a precious rarity, but judging from the pictures, I very strongly suspect that what you have is a modern replica. Such replicas are, for example, sometimes sold in European museum shops.

    Yeah it just doesn't seem right, there are layers when you look at the side of the coin but it seems too nice.
