That definitely is a good box!

And if complaining helps change the outcome of a box let me just put this out into the universe

    "I can't believe I haven't found a 1913 V Nickel yet!"

Man what a box! These last couple dozen boxes have been great. A bunch of 64 BUs in this box. Not the best strike but sharp edges and nice luster.

I did the math and you are finding about 1 buffalo nickel per 6703 nickels. That’s about 1 per 3.5 boxes. I’ve been looking through nickel rolls for years. But I still haven’t found any buffalo nickels. Hopefully I’ll find one soon!:)

1985 might be a minor off-center strike. Both Obverse and Reverse are affected.

I thought the same thing. The reverse is a tad off as well but in a different area of the coin. We still haven't found a nice off center yet.

Misaligned and off-center. It happens. I'll need to check my inventory of errors on that.

Are you sure it’s dateless? I think I might see a squashed up 36 - To me it looks like there’s something there. But I don't know... I might just be seeing things.

Yeah I looked at all angles and lighting. Sometimes with the lighting you can tilt it in a certain direction and get a small hint of a date. But this one is dateless. It will have to wait till the end of this experiment to get Nic-a-dated which I'm sure Kevin can't wait for :)

I'm sure at the end of this 500 box hunt I will have around 2 rolls of dateless to hunt!

Looks like another 1939/38 reverse. Of course I spied your dateless Buffalo. Ribbon suggests that it's an oldie!!
