Now that I am starting to feel a lot better, I have a chance to post a few notes that I found while searching ones from the bank while I was more laid up.

The first one: Series 1988 $1 FRN note. Check out the serial, not a repeating number on the note. I really wish they went in order, but hey I ain't gonna' complain. :smile

The second: a 1995 $1 FRN District A Web note - front plate 7/back plate 8. Just about fell off my couch when I came across this note in the bundle of ones.

More to follow when I have the time and can stand sitting at the computer with the scanner.

    Thanks.........

Darn shame a couple are not reversed on that serial number. Still some cool finds. I keep looking for web notes, but no luck so far.

On the Cleveland note the only way top get that note in numerical order from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, would be a "Specimen" note, however, from 98765432 would be cool and they do exist.....I personally do not have any like that but I know they command large premiums. Reverse ladder's are what I have heard them called.

    The "Low-Down" on Ladder #'s

    hi guys,
actually, the "Up-ladder" - 12345678 is available in other than "SPECIMEN" form as noted in rickyB's post(ALSO, most of the Legal Tender "SPECIMENS" from the 1953 & 1963 series were the 23456789 variety:secret:), the "Down-Ladder - 98765432 is also available as is the 23456789 & 87654321 notes. The "up-Ladders" usually bring $1800.00 - $2,000.00, unless the series is also scarce. The "Down-Ladders" are the scarcer variety, IMHO, as many runs don't go high enough to reach them. On the modern runs, if they exist, they are "trapped" in uncut sheets:eek:, these usually sell for $2,200.00 - $3,000.00, unlr=ess the series is also scarce.
thought more info would be appreciated, hope this helps ;)
